Halloween and my birthday have passed, so it’s now an acceptable time to start getting excited about Christmas (or that’s what I’m telling myself anyway). I’ve been excited for Christmas since early October when the weather started getting colder and it became acceptable to wear big jumpers and coats.

If you’re now panicking because Christmas is coming up and you don’t know what to get the special traveller in your life… or maybe you are the traveller and you’re wondering what to ask Santa for this year? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!

The Stylish Traveller

Stylish Traveller Christmas Gifts

1. Serengettee Clothing

Serengettee are an amazing brand that I recently became familiar with. They purchase fabrics from all over the world, supporting artisans, their families and ancient fabric making techniques. 10% of the profits are then donated to charities throughout the countries in which the fabrics were purchased.

You can shop by country, meaning if there’s a country which has stolen a special place in your heart or you want to help particularly, you can focus on those fabrics. The fabrics can be applied to a range of different products, I am particularly loving the baseball tees!

2. El Camino Bracelets

El Camino bracelets are the perfect way to commemorate your recent travels and proudly show them off every day! Not only do they have every country to choose from, you can also create custom beads such as “Merry Christmas Danielle 2016” – hint hint!

3. Vintage Globe Locket

I am a sucker for anything with a map/globe print on it. So this vintage globe locket is a winner in my books! Etsy has hundreds of other travelling inspired jewellery pieces (as well as gorgeous prints), so you are likely to find something for everyone!

The Luxury Traveller

Luxury Traveller Christmas Gifts

1. Aspinal of London Travel Wallet

I absolutely love my Aspinal travel wallet and would highly recommend it for anyone who loves to travel and keep all of their documents organised whilst looking fabulous (duh, who doesn’t)! They also have matching products such as passport holders, luggage tags etc. Take a look at their full travel range here.

2. Diane Von Furstenburg Luggage

I have the cabin sized DVF Adieu Spinner suitcase and I have never had so many compliments on a bag before! No matter where I take it, someone will always comment on it. Whilst I wouldn’t say that it is the strongest or sturdiest case, I’ve had it for over a year, it’s been used on MANY international and UK travels and it’s still holding up well! It can be purchased from Macy’s here (and it’s currently on sale!).

3. Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Cross-Body Bag

I bought this bag in a light pink colour 2 years ago and it’s still in perfect condition – even after being dragged around Europe! The textured Saffiano material means the bag is easy to wipe clean and won’t scratch easily like a soft leather. I am thinking about picking up the plum colour on my trip to Canada next month!

The Crafty Traveller

Arty Traveller Christmas Gifts

1. Great British Colouring Map

The adult colouring book phenomenon has been sweeping the world by storm recently. And as an avid traveller, I LOVE maps and of course, I love my home nation. So the best way to combine the three is The Great British Colouring Map. Although the pages look so pretty, I’m not sure I could colour them – I’m too clumsy and would definitely ruin them!

2. Scratch-able World Map

Who hasn’t got a scratch-able World Map in this day and age? They are a fun decor piece and my sister got me the Large Luckies Map last year – be warned, it is huge! Luckies is the main brand you see in most high-street shops, so don’t feel like you have to purchase directly from their website!

3. Personalised Travel Journal

With the age of social media, traditional journals have taken a seat on the back burner for now. However, I would absolutely love to have one of these beautiful journals if I were travelling for a few months at a time!

The Tech Traveller

Gadgets for Travellers Christmas Gifts

1. GoPro Hero 4

Before I go on my travels spanning a few months (hopefully in South America!), I am most definitely getting myself a GoPro. I haven’t felt the need to yet whilst exploring European Cities but they are the perfect tech accessory for the adventure traveller!

2. Camera Drone

I would LOVE to have a drone. All of my favourite Instagram and YouTube accounts have won their place in my heart through epic drone shots. I like the look of the DJI Phantom 3! As I’ve never owned a drone before and don’t know how much I would get to use it, I don’t think I need to splash the cash on the DJI Phantom 4 just yet! I did joke with my boyfriend that if I got a drone, we’d have to endure the trek to Burg Eltz again, just for the photos hehe!

3. Gorilla Pod

Another item that would have come in handy over my recent travels is the Gorilla Pod. My go-to camera is the Cannon G7X and I’ve heard mixed reviews about whether the Original Gorilla Pod can support the camera’s weight properly – so I’ve always been put off of purchasing. Also, I’m a simple traveller when I’m out and about, I don’t think it would fit into my small cross-body day bag! But this doesn’t stop me wanting one!

The Reading Inspiration-Hungry Traveller

Books For Traveller Christmas Gifts

1. Lonely Planet Ultimate Travel List

The ultimate coffee table book for any travel-obsessive is the Lonely Planet Ultimate Travel List. I’m yet to get my hands on it, but I always have a flick through when I see it in shops – it’s gorgeous!

2.  The Best Place to Be Today

I love this book. If anyone sees it on my bed-side table, they always pick it up! The book outlines every single day in the year and then gives you the best activity to be doing on that day – amazing! There are some really cool things in this book that I’d never even heard of – I’m a big fan!

3. 36 Hours 125 Weekends in Europe

This book is perfect for me as I absolutely love weekends in a new European City. It’s so perfect for me in fact, that I’ve owned the book for a year or so and my boyfriend accidentally bought me a second copy for my birthday! The original can be bought here, they have recently released an updated edition that can be bought here (although for some reason this one doesn’t specify that it covers 125 weekends – I’m not sure if it’s shorter!). The issue with these books are that they cover a lot of hotel and restaurant recommendations that may quickly become out of date.

They have different editions for plenty of other places in the world – I’m intrigued by the “London and Beyond” version!

The Home-Decor Obsessed Traveller

Home Decorations for Travellers Christmas Gifts

1. Airportag

I find myself scrolling through the Airportag website every time they send out an email newsletter. The products are fun, bright and colourful – they seem to have a product for every single airport too! I can’t wait to own my own place and have these dotted around based on the room’s colour scheme – unfortunately my black and white bedroom doesn’t fit the aesthetic!

2. Glass House Fragrances

Glass House Fragrances are a collection of candles based on countries around the world – whilst I haven’t had the chance to smell any yet, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous!

If you’re in the UK, Next have started selling similar products which can be found here – New York, Antigua, Marrakesh, Milan, Amalfi, Miami.

3. Mapiful

I absolutely love the aesthetic of these Mapiful prints, and the flexibility (you locate exactly what map you would like and can dictate the text), I just need a bit more room in my bedroom to accommodate them!

The Practical Traveller

Practical Traveller Christmas Gifts

1. Crumpled Map

We’ve all shoved a map into our bags at the beginning of a trip, relied on the map tirelessly throughout the trip and then ended the trip with a crumpled mess of stained, ripped paper. Do not worry, THE FUTURE IS HERE. Palomar have released the “Crumpled Map“. These city maps are waterproof, crumple-proof and I can’t believe I didn’t think of the idea earlier.

2. How To Read the Menu Books

If you know someone that’s heading to France, Italy or Spain any time soon , these “How To Read The Menu” books make a cute alternative to the usual language dictionaries! Plus they are on the most important topic – food.

Personalised Gifts

Personalised Traveller Christmas Gifts

1. Personalised Wooden Luggage Tags

I think that these luggage tags are absolutely adorable. The perfect way to make sure your loved ones think of you whilst they are away on their travels. Include a soppy, heartfelt message and you’ll have them blubbing like a baby.

2.Personalised Beach Towel

Do you know a complete beach bum? Then this personalised beach towel will be the perfect gift – no opportunity for hostel laundry mix-ups with your name plastered all over your belongings!

3. Personalised Accessory Pouch

With this pretty personalised map accessory pouch, you can keep your belongings safe/organised whilst showing the world how much you blimmin’ love travel – what more could you want?!

The Ultimate Present

And if any of my friends and family are currently reading this, the one thing I would like most in the world is unlimited money and a round the world plane ticket – is that too much to ask?

Is there anything else travel related that you have on your wishlist?

This post is just an excuse really for me to list out all of the things I’ve been lusting over recently. Sorry not sorry.

So you’ve just been on your travels, you’ve fallen in love with a brand new city, what’s the best way to commemorate this? Buy something cute to remember the trip by obviously! As I still live at home, I have stopped buying souvenirs on my travels because I don’t have the room to store them. However it doesn’t stop me lusting over these gorgeous items!

1) El Camino Bracelets

El Camino Bracelets have been making their way onto my social media feeds more and more recently. One of my friends got one about a year a go and I’ve been obsessed since! I love the purple bracelet but would spend far too much money collecting all of the countries that I’ve visited! I wish they also did gold hardware!

2) Mapiful Prints

I have been lusting over these prints from Mapiful for quite some time now! The maps are completely customisable. You chose your city, zoom in and position the map how you wish, add whatever text you want and boom – you’ve got yourself one of the most stylish yet personalised travel prints I’ve ever seen!

3) Airportag Goodies

Another homeware decor item, however this time mainly focusing on the airport rather than the city itself! Airportag sell gorgeous brightly coloured gifts with all different airport codes on (as well as some nice travel quotes as shown above). There’s every airport you could think of and so many products to chose from! The cushions are my absolute favourite!

4) Glasshouse Fragrances Candles

Glasshouse Fragrances sell candles based on beautiful destinations. I’d love to see if they actually remind me of the place they are named after! Even if not, the candles are absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately they only currently deliver in Australia – if anybody knows of a similar brand in the UK, I’d love to know!

5) A whole Section of Not On The Highstreet!

Not On The Highstreet has become an increasingly popular website to buy some really unique and beautiful gifts. And the best part is that they have a whole section dedicated to “frequent travellers”. With 180 items to currently choose from (most of which can be personalised), you’ll be spoilt for choice!
