Meet The Creator

Hi there! I'm Danielle, a 20-something Chartered Tax Advisor who is forever dreaming of escaping the office (and my Essex hometown - hence the blog name!) and heading on my next adventure.

Maximising annual leave is one of my greatest skills, so you'll often find me enjoying a long weekend in Europe. Aside from that, I've recently taken a 3 month sabbatical to travel through South America and hope to head off on another long-term travel stint soon!

If you want to read about budget trips, off-the-beaten track destinations and solo female travel, you've come to the right place! Welcome aboard!
